Dreamworks - say another chapter in Shrek is due
Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg has hinted at the possibility of a fifth Shrek installment. This is four years after 'Shrek Forever After'. In an interview he was quoted as saying "We like to let them have a little bit of time to rest.” “But I think you can be confident that we’ll have another chapter in the Shrek series. We’re not finished, and more importantly, neither is he.
The fourth Shrek film grossed over £1.7b world wide. Therefore, it is clear to see Dreamworks have not yet finished with this venture.
This is echoed more by the fact they are to open a Shrek themed visitor attraction in London in 2015. Teaming up with Merlin Entertainments to build the park and six other over the space of nine years. The attraction named Shreks Far Far Away Adventure will feature an interactive adventure with characters including, Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots, Donkey and other characters.
